Be More Active with our Walking Groups

Be More Active with UUSU Sport’s new physical activity initiative inclusive of walking groups, couch to 5k and bootcamps.

There are many health benefits to a 30 minute walk; it improves your energy levels, it lifts your mood and it helps you tone and shape up. Some of us like to walk by ourselves but others prefer a more social setting. Why not get involved with UUSU Sport’s Walking Groups on each campus? Led by your Student Sport Activator, you will enjoy a 30-60 minute walk around your campus and local area. We’ll even have a limited amount of pedometers available for you to record your progress from week to week. At £1.00pp, this will be the most cost-effective exercise you perform on campus.
