Ulster University Sports Match Programme for Sports Union Clubs
As part of the Performance Sport Development Programme at Ulster, Sports Services are giving Sports Union Clubs (with a performance focus), the opportunity to bid for support from the University towards coaching expenses. Through the Sports Match Programme the University will;
- match fund coaching expenses for up to 6 clubs per annum to a maximum of £5,000 on a 50:50 cost share basis with the Sports Union Club
Matched funding provided by the applicant Sports Union Club must come from a source external to the University e.g. governing body of sport, private sponsorship or club fundraising. It cannot come from Sports Union funds or an existing Club budget.
In order to be considered eligible to apply for the matched funding, the Sports Union Club must fulfil the Eligibility Criteria as outlined in the supplementary online information and return a completed Application Form, Coaching Plan, KPIS & budget estimates by Friday 15 September 2017 at 4pm.
Coaching Expenses supported through the programme may include the costs of coaching sessions, coach education and/or coaching resources in line with the coaching plan and budget
Following the initial online submissions applications will be assessed against the appropriate Eligibility to Apply Criteria and the programme specific Scoring Criteria.
