Social Sport Programme

UUSU Sport in association with Sports Services has developed a new programme for you to get involved in sport and physical activity at the level you desire. Social Sport aims to encourage greater participation in sport and physical activity on each campus.

The programme is designed to encourage students and staff, regardless of their ability, to take part in activities such as self-defence, indoor soccer, touch rugby, badminton and many more! Get involved and enjoy the social and physical benefits that can be gained from regular involvement in sports activity.

Social Sport is easily accessible, delivered on each campus and provided at minimal cost to participants. The different elements of the programme offer something for everyone. They are delivered in a way that requires a very limited amount of time so that participation can be fitted around academic study and work commitments. Social Sport enhances YOUR student experience at the University of Ulster.

Social Sport Membership costs £10 for the academic year and must be purchased before you take part in any of the activities.  Memberships can be purchased in your UUSU Sport office on campus. Click on our Social Sports icon on the Home Page and discover what activities are available on your campus!
