Females: Get #ActiveFitSporty with Walking Netball

Funded by Department of Communities via Sport Northern Ireland, UUSU Sport seeks to inspire our female students to get #ActiveFitSporty regardless of experience or ability.  You will find four high-energy, innovative Female Only classes on each campus to get engage with.

Adapted versions of sports are frequently becoming the norm, removing perceived barriers and attracting new participants.  No doubt, most of us have played netball at some point, whether it have been in PE and Games, after school or with a local club.  Perhaps you’ve experienced an injury that prevents you from high-impact sports; maybe you don’t feel you can join a club because you haven’t played before; or it might actually be that you prefer low-impact activities.  Walking Netball reflects the normal game of netball but for a couple of rules changes….and the walking!

There are limited places available so it is important that you contact your Student Sport Development Officer on cl.peile@ulster.ac.uk for further details on how to register.
